Public verifier

Third-party verification without our platform.

The public verifier provides an independent path for supported integrity and consistency checks using published verification material. Reviewers can check supported artifacts without relying on the primary AuditTrace interface.

Important limit: verification of a hash, manifest, or signature does not by itself prove the complete event, intent, authorization, accuracy, or surrounding context.

What it can check

Supported file integrity, manifest consistency, published hash matches, and other explicitly documented verification facts.

What it does not establish

Who caused an event, whether an action was authorized, whether evidence is complete, or whether a legal or compliance standard has been satisfied.

Privacy posture

Use only the inputs requested by the verifier. Do not submit credentials, secrets, regulated records, or unrelated confidential material.

Verification model

Independent checking is part of the discipline—not a platform lock-in feature.

AuditTrace treats hashes, manifests, and signatures as verification facts that belong inside a larger reviewable record containing scope, provenance, timing, exclusions, and human decisions.
